DeltaMass MT
The DeltaMass Flowmeter combines a UniMag magnetic flowmeter and a low level gamma ray density sensor in one unique package to accurately measure mass flow of liquids with dissolved and undissolved solids in pipes 4 - 20 in. (100 - 500 mm). This flowmeter has no moving parts or vibrating tubes and is easy to service in the field.
The encapsulated sensors of the DeltaMass flowtube are mounted in a plane perpendicular to the source and scintillation detector of the integral density sensor. Volumetric flowrate and density measurements are processed in a remote 4411e magnetic flowmeter transmitter and remote X99 microprocessor. The X99 continuously calculates and displays the mass flowrate, density, specific gravity, and % solids in any desired engineering units. These are normally expressed in dry state units, unless otherwise specified. Three isolated 4-20 mA outputs are provided for mass or volumetric flowrate, and density or % solids. Typical DeltaMass applications include dredging and mining slurries, waste treatment sludge, kaolin, lime mud and high consistency pulp.
DeltaKit
DeltaKit sensor assemblies convert existing weldable piping, from 2 to 80 in. (50 to 2000 mm), into a highly accurate, non-obtrusive magnetic flowmeter. They are used with a remote 4411e transmitter (see separate data sheet).
DeltaKits are used as spare sensor assemblies for existing flowtubes, or as economic flowmeters using existing weldable piping.
DeltaKits are Entela certified to UL and CSA standards for safety in ordinary locations, with optional NEC and CSA to Class 1, Div. 2 or ATEX Zone 2 explosive atmospheres.
UniMag
The UniMag Magnetic Flowmeter System consists of the patented UniMag Flowtube and the 4411e Transmitter.
UniMag Magnetic Flowmeters are a more cost effective solution for many applications compared to conventional mag technology, because they improve on-site measurement performance and decrease costs associated with maintenance and downtime.
The UniMag is approved by Entela to UL and CSA standards for safety in ordinary locations and NEC and CSA for Class 1, Div. 2, Groups C, D, T4 and ATEX to Zone 2 explosive atmospheres.
