Compensation For Temperature Changes
Each sensor is solid state and has an excitation coil, a reference coil, large measuring electrodes and grounding electrodes.

From this the UniMag transmitter compensates the output signal for variations in flowtube or media temperature.

High exciter current and frequency produces a signal that’s virtually unaffected by media noise. Cleaning electrodes is a thing of the past!

Integrated Monitoring System
UniMag Flowtubes can be uniquely ordered with integral density (mass flow), level (non full pipes) measurement or sampling ports.

Modular Construction / Repairability
Most conventional magmeter sensors can only be repaired by their manufacturer. In some cases, freight and repair can equal or exceed the initial cost of the flowtube — and may take several weeks.

Your maintenance staff can easily replace a UniMag sensor on-site.

Simplified Installation & Retrofits
Most UniMag flowtubes can be manufactured to any face-to-face dimension, including those recommended in ISO / DIS 13359.

This makes it easy and cost-effective to replace an existing flowmeter with UniMag. There’s no need to cut or alter the process piping, or to use costly spacers or spool pieces.

No Liner Necessary
With UniMag’s exclusive design, the flowtube becomes part of the magnetic circuit. Sensors are self-contained, so there’s no need for a flowtube liner, allowing flowtubes to be built from economical plastic or suitably protected carbon steel.

Eliminating the dependence on a liner removes the major drawback users experience with conventional magmeters.

No microporosity errors and no liner failures!
